Aaron Ardiri AB

Independent technology advisory.

A practical perspective on complex technology decisions, informed by years of building systems and organizations.

Throughout my career, I have worked on technology from several perspectives: as the person writing the code, the architect making decisions that will last for years, and the founder or technology leader balancing engineering ambitions with commercial realities.

Those perspectives do not always agree. A technically elegant solution can be difficult to maintain. A short-term commercial decision can create years of complexity. And a team can have excellent engineers yet struggle to communicate how its systems fit together.

My advisory work is about helping people work through those tensions. I bring an independent viewpoint, practical experience and a willingness to challenge assumptions where it is useful. I am equally comfortable discussing strategy with leadership and getting into the technical details with engineering teams.

Areas of focus

Where I can contribute.

Technology strategy and architecture

Understanding the systems you have, evaluating the direction you want to take and making architectural decisions with a clear view of their long-term consequences.

Engineering practices and technical debt

Improving documentation, developer experience, knowledge transfer and the everyday practices that help teams work effectively with complex software.

Product and technical assessment

Examining technical feasibility, platform choices and the relationship between what a product promises and what it will take to deliver and support it.

An independent sounding board

Helping founders, CTOs and leadership teams examine important decisions without adding another permanent management layer.

Working together

Focused on the problem, not a prescribed process.

Some engagements call for a focused architecture review or technical assessment. Others benefit from an ongoing advisory relationship, where context develops over time and decisions can be revisited as circumstances change.

I work through Aaron Ardiri AB, primarily on a remote-first basis between Stockholm, Sweden and Margaret River, Western Australia, with planned on-site involvement where it adds value.
